Ms. Love's 5 Natural Hair Tips =)

1. Moisture

Water is the best form of moisture, but water dries up… So be sure to seal the moisture! When purchasing setting creams/gels/butters, make sure that the first ingredient is water!

Bonus: If your hair is short of moisture, it will become very unruly. It is also more prone to split ends and breakage! Moisture is VERY important. Keep that hair moisturized!

2. Sulfate-Free Shampoo

Sulfate strips our hair of natural oils leaving it very dry and brittle. You want to use a moisturizing shampoo that will hydrate your scalp (and that is sulfate-free).

Bonus: Most natural/organic shampoos are sulfate-free.
It is okay to comb a coat of conditioner through your hair before shampooing.

3. Conditioner

Apply the most amount of conditioner to the ends of your hair, they’ve been on your head the longest, so they are the driest!

Bonus: Add your favorite oil to your conditioner (jojoba, coconut, olive).
Do not rinse conditioner out completely, leave a tad bit in your hair before styling.

4. Wash hair…

Hair styling and products

I accomplished this style (braid out) with Carol's Daughter "Healthy Hair Butter" and "Shea Butter". I also used a bit of Chi-Silk Infusion.
